Event Rentals

Intimate, natural, beautiful in every season, Mobile Botanical Gardens is the perfect setting for your next event. We have two rental facilities on our site.

MBG Botanical Center

Currently available for Weddings, Receptions and Parties Friday, Saturday and Sundays only.

Our Botanical Center, renovated in 2014, is a rustic building featuring a split cedar shake roof. Inside, the artist-rendered acid stained concrete floor mimics the native Alabama stones used in the surrounding gardens. Exposed beams and ceiling fans complement the lodge-like feel of the large open space. Interior colors are soft gray, warm browns and white trims. The 30 x 70ft space is lit by track lighting and decorative white lights.

Windows along the side walls give views of the surrounding gardens. French doors open to the Woolford Plaza and Fountain on the north side, overlooking the ReBloom Garden. The doors on the south side opens to the Herb Garden.

MONDAY – THURSDAY – We can only accommodate MEETINGS during weekdays 8am -4pm
1-4 hours $500
5-8 hours $800

A refundable deposit equal to 50% of the rental fee is required to hold your date – this will be refunded, less any charge for damages after the event
50% of the rental fee is due 90 days prior to the event, with the balance due 30 days prior to the event

MBG Larkins Learning Center

Currently available for meetings only – Monday through Thursday

Available Monday-Thursday for half or full days, the Larkins Learning Center is perfect for business meetings, classes, and workshops. Three Plaza-facing doors and two sets of partitions allow the room to be used as one large unit or as smaller rooms. Windows look out onto the WinterGarden to the East and the semi-circular Plaza to the west.

Partitions allow the space to be separated into up to three smaller rooms
A modern catering kitchen with a rear entrances adjoins the room
Restrooms for men and women are nearby with outside access
Three doors open to the adjoining Piff Plaza
The Plaza can be used for outdoor catering, mid-morning breaks, product sales and mingling between classes or presentations
Room size is 1800 sq ft
Occupancy is 150 standing/100 seated
80 grey chairs are available (indoor use only)
8 Tables are available size 6ft x 30in
Audiovisual equipment is available for use at additional charge.
