Photography Policy

Visitors may take pictures throughout the Gardens for personal use and enjoyment.

All professional photography sessions must schedule a date and time (see below) with the MBG office. This includes engagement photos, wedding/bridal photos, and portraits.

Fee Schedule:
The fee for a personal photo shoot is $125 for up to 8 persons, including the photographer and assistants, for a maximum of two hours. Should the group be larger than 8, the fee is $20 per person. Additional hours may be purchased at a rate of $50 per hour. Garden membership does not entitle the party, or part thereof, to waive this fee.

Due to demand, sessions must be confirmed with payment in full 1 week prior to the session.

Photography sessions are not scheduled after hours, on days the Garden is closed, or during specific events.

Promotional or Commercial Photo Shoot:
Photographers for promotional or commercial photo and video shoots (for inclusion in a newspaper, book, magazine, catalog, model portfolio, TV commercial, motion picture, etc.) are charged a location fee and must be scheduled in advance.

Tripods and other large equipment may be used throughout the Gardens provided they do not damage any of the plants or block walkways for other visitors. Mobile Botanical Gardens is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged equipment.

Mobile Botanical Gardens is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our revenues are generated through grants, fundraising events, admissions and your tax-deductible membership contributions. Thank you for helping to support our mission of environmental and horticultural preservation and education.
