MBG's major fundraising events are plant sales, with the focus on plants that do well for the Gulf Coast region. When you buy at these sales, you will not only be supporting the Gardens, you will also have the opportunity to learn about your purchases.
Held in the spring and fall, Plantasia! Plant Sales are the two major fundraisers for The Gardens. You can select from among thousands of plants selected for the Gulf Coast region, plus a "Connoisseurs' Corner" where you'll find specially selected rare and unusual species.
Remember that when you shop, you will be assisted by knowledgeable volunteers, many of them Master Gardeners, who will help you purchase plants for your specific garden needs.
MBG MarketPlace
A smaller version of our Spring and Fall Plantasias, the MarketPlace is open from April throughout June on on Saturday mornings, with hundreds of the best plants for Gulf Coast gardens! Members receive advance notification of these special sales, so join MBG now and buy plants you can't find anywhere else!
