About Our Instructor:
Dennis Harris –  In the early 1990s Dennis attended a floral design class conducted by Cleveland Florists – and he ended up being offered a part time position as a floral designer after they saw what he could do! From there Dennis went on to work full time at a Fairhope florist shop for 5 years before he accepted the position as Head Designer at Zimlich’s where he worked for 32 years. Currently Dennis is the Event Coordinator for Zimlich’s overseeing weddings and large events in the region. In 1993 Dennis was recognized in San Francisco by the American Institute of Floral Designers and later received similar recognition from the Canadian Academy. He has handled weddings from Napa to Tampa, and created floral wonders from Mexico City to Canada!
