About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Gelineau is a Mobile, Alabama based photographer specializing in editorial, food, portrait and wedding photography. Interesting lighting, delicate details and thoughtful timing are the hallmarks of Elizabeth’s style. Elizabeth believes the key to great photography is a balance between technical mastery and relationships. This philosophy inspires her to bring energy, positivity and relatability to every shoot.

Elizabeth’s editorial experience includes food, environmental portraits, fashion, architecture and event coverage. She has contributed to several print and online publications, creating over 20 magazine covers for Mobile Bay Magazine and photographing celebrities like chef John Besh, Donald Trump, Laura Bush and nationally syndicated home improvement personality Danny Lipford. Her portrait of Lipford and his daughter and co-host Chelsea Wolf, was featured in an editorial piece for the LA Times.

Elizabeth is also passionate about using photography to make a difference and donates services to several organizations, including McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama. She is also passionate about gardening and has been a member of the Gardens for several years. Although Elizabeth is now a full-time professional photographer, she says she honed some of her photography skills by taking photos of plants and flowers when she was in the early years of honing her craft. Taking the camera out into the garden is still something she enjoys when it comes to her personal work. You can view more of her work at www.elizabethgelineau.com.
